A small typography booklet using the Baskerville font to illuminate beauty and elegance during wartime. Contrasting Eastern and Western 18th-century fashion, it serves as a quiet visual resistance to chaos.

Challenge

Wartime visuals are often represented with darkness and despair, overlooking the quiet strength and grace people held onto through fashion and print.

Objective

To create a small typography booklet using Baskerville, expressing elegant visual resistance through the contrast of 18th-century Eastern and Western clothing styles.

Result

The final booklet evokes a sense of calm and beauty amidst historical tension, using type and form to transform a dark era into a visually uplifting experience.
